Urgent Patient Notice

For the time being we have temporarily disabled the ability to book appointments online if you need to book a GP appointment please contact us on 0161 303 4313.

The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put into place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

Test Results

test_results8If you have been asked to ring for a result please telephone between 12:00 – 14:00.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.


Anything which is to be sent to the pathology lab for testing must be in the correct container and labelled, containers are available at reception.  Reception staff are not expected to transfer samples so you may be asked to transfer your sample to the correct container for processing.
