Out of Hours Appointments

There is are now enhanced access appointments , which is free for patients to access.  This service offers GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant appointments at 5 locations each evening through the week, and at weekends.  These appointments are available at:

The Primary Care Network Hub, 1st Floor St Andrews House, Waterloo Road, SK15 2AU.

These appointments can be booked by your GP surgery or the Primary Care Network on 0161 393 2976.  They are available from 6.30pm - 8.00pm Monday to Friday, and at various times on Saturday and Sunday. These appointments are designed to assist people who may struggle to visit their GP surgery during normal working hours.

As well as GP appointments, the service also offers appointments for blood tests, ear syringing, cervical screening, asthma checks, diabetic checks etc.  Again, these can be booked through your GP practice or the Primary Care Network Hub on 0161 393 2976

Please call us on 0161 303 4313 and ask to book a 7 day access appointment. Please note, you will be asked for your consent for the 7 day access service to have access to your past medical history.  This is to ensure they give you the correct advice and treatment.  It also allows them to put a consultation on your records, to enable us to see what service they have provided, and for us to offer any continuation to that care that may be necessary (for example, blood tests).

Please note: these appointments may not be with your regular GP, but with a GP who is covering that particular clinic on that particular day.
