If you need to know who your allocated GP is then please ask at reception and a member of staff will be happy to provide you with your details. Remember, upon making an appointment you can see any doctor available at a time most convenient to you.
7-Day access service
There is now a 7-day access service, which is free for patients to access. This service offers GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant appointments at 5 locations each evening through the week, and at weekends. These appointments are available at:
Ashton Primary Care Centre, Ashton-under-Lyne
St Andrews House, Stalybridge
Thornley House Medical Centre, Hyde
Glossop Primary Care Centre, Gossop
Ann St Health Centre, Denton
These appointments MUST be booked by your GP surgery. They are available from 6.30pm - 9.00pm Monday to Friday, and at various times on Saturday and Sunday. These appointments are designed to assist people who may struggle to visit their GP surgery during normal working hours.
As well as GP appointments, the service also offers appointments for blood tests, ear syringing, cervical screening, asthma checks, diabetic checks etc. Again, these MUST be booked through your GP surgery.
Please call us on 0161 303 4313 and ask to book a 7 day access appointment. Please note, you will be asked for your consent for the 7 day access service to have access to your past medical history. This is to ensure they give you the correct advice and treatment. It also allows them to put a consultation on your records, to enable us to see what service they have provided, and for us to offer any continuation to that care that may be necessary (for example, blood tests).
Please note: these appointments will not be with your regular GP, but with a GP who is covering that particular clinic on that particular day.
