Immunisations 

Shingles:

Shingles immunisations are continued to be given as and when stock is available - we are running these opportunistically in clinic. If you are eligible and wish to book in, please make an appointment. For information on who is eligible and when please visit Shingles vaccine - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

Flu:

The Practice will be starting our annual flu campaign in September/October. Eligible patients will be contacted as and when clinics have been arranged. If you are also eligible for a COVID autumn booster, these will be offered at the same time at our Primary Care Network Hub. Text invites and letters will be sent in due course. COVID:

COVID autumn boosters will be offered from September/October. Eligible patients will receive an invite to clinics held at our Primary Care Network Hub, 1st Floor, St Andrews House, 2 Waterloo Road, Stalybridge, SK15 2AU. Please note there is a lift.  Information regarding who is eligible will be uploaded here once it is confirmed. Text invites and letters will be sent in due course. 

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccination 

This is a new vaccination which will be offered to patients aged between 75-79 and pregnant women. We anticipate clinics to be ran from September onwards, however as this is a new vaccination we will be offering we would appreciate your patience whilst these clinics are organised.  Text invites and letters will be sent in due course to eligible patients. Appointments 

In September we had 46 appointments that were not attended - this equates to 690 minutes of clinicians time. If you cannot attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible so we are able to offer the appointment to another patient!
